CEM3000 UMTS Network Optimization System

Vixtel Technologies Ltd. (Beijing Headquarter). www.vixtel.com July 18, 2010 Source: admin

Vixtel’s CEM3000 UMTS Optimizer is a revolutionary solution for UMTS network optimization based on Measurement Report (MR) and other signalling data from Iub and Iu interface.  The Optimizer supports collecting MRs from different kind of vendor’s equipment. Those data can be collected by Iub interface based on hardware probes, or from OMC-R of networks by Call Trace Record (CTR) function.

UMTS Optimizer is much different with traditional optimization tool (such as Drive Test); it is based on the data which reflects true customer experience. Optimizer collects the huge amount of measurement reports from end user’s mobile and correlates them with call signalling events. Based on its unique UE positioning technology, it correlates various RF and signalling KPIs with longitude/latitude tags and visualizes the information on the geographic map. By this means, it utilize every mobile like a drive tester and provides effective ways for various wireless problems analysis, such as weak or blind coverage, missing neighbour cells, interference, pilot pollution, drop call, etc.

Key Features

  • Combined RF, KPI and customer experience analysis
  • GIS based visualization : Cell based voronoi map and 100*100 meters grid based map analysis
  • Comprehensive RF coverage analysis, such as DL CPICH coverage, Weak coverage, Blind region and Over shooting analysis
